October is all about pumpkins, fall, and magic! Join us for a special program featuring world class entertainer, James Brandon. James has headlined magic/comedy shows in Las Vegas, Monte Carlo, and around the globe. Prepare to be amazed as he makes the impossible come to life right before your eyes! Dressing in your favorite costume or favorite fall colors is optional.

We’ve heard your feedback, and we’re excited to share that GNC will be welcoming a new caterer for our October meeting!
We’re very excited to introduce this new caterer to our club and have them be a part of our upcoming event. We hope you’ll enjoy the fresh experience and delicious offerings they’ll be bringing to our October gathering.

October Donation Recipient
This month, GNC is supporting the three ministries of Straight Street, shown below. At the September Luncheon, Keri Carpenter talked about Backpack Love which helps address food insecurity in kids. Food is sent home with the schoolchildren, so they don’t go hungry from leaving school on Friday until returning on Monday! GNC has provided them with 40 backpacks to use for this great cause.
BACKPACK LOVE - Easy-to-prepare food for needy families is sent home from school in backpacks with students to cover their weekend meals.
BEAUTIFUL FEET - A residential home and restorative program for women who have experienced sexual exploitation.
STREET IMPACT - Provides disability-specific home repairs like bathroom grab bars and wheelchair ramps for those without the means to complete them themselves.
Is it really that time again??
We’ll be distributing stockings in October for seniors in the Meals on Wheels program. Stockings will be collected at the November meeting. If you want to fill a stocking but won’t make it to the October Luncheon, contact Michele Waller to get one.
We WILL be accepting donations of empty egg cartons at our October luncheon.
Cancellations: Should you need to cancel, please do so no later than midnight on the Wednesday prior to the Luncheon. This can be done by emailing the Luncheon Committee at luncheongnc@gmail.com. The Boathouse charges for all reservations submitted in our final count. In case of a question, the registration confirmation can be used as proof of registering!
As noted in the by-laws, if your cancellation is not received in time, your online payment will not be refunded or credited to your account. We appreciate your understanding.
