GNC March Program

Please join us as the Boat House is transported to the wilds of Iceland. Bjorg Olafsdottir, a native of Iceland and current GNC member, will teach us about the land of fire and ice, elves, and trolls. Picture her homeland through her eyes as a native and as a certified tour guide. Bring your questions on how to plan your dream trip to Iceland. We hope to see you there!

HALT HOUSE

HALT House hosts many of Hall County’s most active 12-step recovery groups: Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon (for family members of alcoholics), and Narcotics Anonymous. Additionally, they serve several other related support groups. Since 1982, the First Baptist Church of Gainesville has maintained the HALT building and parking area on the corner of their church campus. It gives these independent, anonymous groups exclusive use of its property for a token lease of $1/year! Thousands from our community have attended meetings there through the years.
