GNC February Program

Dr. Douglas Young will be speaking at our February Luncheon Meeting about the incredible Helen Dortch Longstreet, wife of General James Longstreet. His presentation will highlight the many accomplishments of a remarkable Renaissance lady who opened so many doors of opportunity closed to her; she held them open for numbers of others seeking to fulfill the’ American Dream’.

Dr. Young is a local public speaker and author who’s written several books. He’s a political science professor emeritus who taught at Gordon College, Gainesville State College, and the University of North Georgia. Several of our members have heard him speak at various events and agree that he’s fantastic. Copies of his books will be available for sale at the meeting.

We hope to see you at the February meeting!
