GNC June Program

Our June Luncheon meeting will highlight McClain Hermes as our honored speaker. Have you ever met an American Paralympic swimmer and Paratriathlete who competes for the United States internationally?

This is your opportunity to hear her amazing story and tell your children and your grandchildren.

McClain, at four years old, grew up with a goal of going to the Olympics. At 15 years of age, McClain went to the Paralympics. She will talk about her years of relentless training and her unyielding belief that limitations exist only if you accept them.

McClain is the daughter of Gainesville Newcomers Club member Carmen Hermes.  She brings with her UZO, her guide dog that you will also meet. This remarkable young lady is a dedicated and involved advocate for adaptive sports. Also, she is currently very busy working on her doctorate.

This is an I N C R E D I B L E Young woman!
