GNC January Program

‘Farm to Table’

I am guessing you have all heard the saying, “Farm to Table”.  We see it a lot in what many avant-garde restaurants offer today. You will not want to miss the presentation on January 22nd. At this meeting, you will learn about how much work goes on behind the scenes to make this food concept so successful in today’s world.

Dr. Bob Cantù will be speaking and will be accompanied by his wife, Dr. Laura Cantù.  The topic is the ‘Farm Workers Family Health Program ’administered by BRENAU. This exceptional program is a win win for not only BRENAU and its students and faculty, but for the landowner, the farm worker, and their children in Moultrie. Health and education services are provided to these farm worker families each season.

Dr. Bob Cantù is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at BRENAU,and Dr. Laura Cantù is an Assistant Professor of Education at BRENAU.  They have been dedicated to this work and extensive program since 2018.

In addition to BRENAU, other university students and faculty participate at scheduled times during the season. These include Emory, Georgia State Physical Therapy, Mercer Pharmacy, and Clayton State Dental.

Please come and join this presentation that is a “Sign of the Times.”
