  • Members of the club are welcome to register for a luncheon. Members are also allowed to register a guest. Remember that if your guest is a potential new member, they must be registered separately as such and not as a guest.
  • (REGISTRATION CODE REQUIRED) Use this registration type if you have previously attended one or more luncheons as a potential new member and have received instructions to register as a new member.
  • (REGISTRATION CODE REQUIRED) For ladies who meet the residency requirements and are interested in potentially joining the Gainesville Newcomers Club. Contact the membership committee at GNCmembershipGA@gmail.com for additional information regarding registration if needed.

Program

We are all familiar with the adage: “Older but Wiser.” Hall County has taken that adage to a new level believing that older is still wise. We are going to hear about a program that has been developed to tap into the 55+ population of Hall County as a resource to benefit and enhance our community. We will learn what a Wisdom Keeper is. We will learn how seniors are becoming involved and sharing their individual talents in creative ways.  Our speaker is Duane Hinshaw, current President of Wisdom 2030 Board of Directors. He retired as a senior executive for Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Organization in 2O17 and continues to volunteer frequently for the Boys and Girls Club. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the regional youth detention center. Please join us for lunch and a stimulating presentation that may provide your next life opportunity and challenge.  Additional information can be found on the GNC website Home Page.
