~Program~
Cellist Austin Bolen
In order to keep us all safe during lunch we encourage you to listen to Cellist Austin Bolen rather than speaking while we are not wearing masks. Austin will provide a variety of musical selections including Christmas favorites.
Community Speaker
The Community Committee is pleased to announce a presentation in December by Joy Green, the new Development Specialist and Tracy Verrigni, head of Volunteer Recruitment and Training from Hall-Dawson CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).
Their mission is to ensure abused and neglected children have the right to a safe placement and permanent home. CASA provides trained, screened, and supervised volunteers to advocate for these children.
CASA is an organization we have supported just recently in collecting school supplies and backpacks for this group of children.
~Name Tags~
A permanent name tag will be given to each member at the luncheon meeting. You will take it home with you and then wear it to the next GNC function. Again, this is a new feature we are implementing to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
~Menu~
Tossed mixed green salad with bslsamic vinaigrette dressing
Chicken Marsala
Roasted broccoli and cauliflower medley
Home-style mashed potatoes
Rolls and butter
Holiday chocolate cake
Iced tea and water
All payments for the luncheon will only be accepted through online payments. No payments will be accepted at the door.
Registration will close December 9th, 2020
*Unfortunately the Chattahoochee Country Club has sustained severe water damage due to the heavy rain and the reroofing project causing the closure of the Ballroom and Terrace Room for at least 2-3 months. They will not be able to host the November and December Luncheons that had been scheduled. We will see what options will be available after the first of the New Year.
CDC Guidelines-all precautions and guidelines will be followed as the previous meetings this fall, i.e. masks and temperature checks. In addition, only 6 people will be allowed at each table with a maximum of 90 guests total.
~Community~
Community will only be collecting pop-tops, box tops for schools and toiletries. All other donations will be done online. Please click the Donate button for more information.
