  • ~ January Luncheon and Program ~

Kick off the New Year with music, movement and good health!

We are excited to bring four amazing ladies to GNC that can help us to get active and feel great!

Zandrea Stephens from Francis Meadows Aquatic Center will tell us about all the fabulous amenities they have to offer: swim classes, water aerobics, yoga, Zumba, Gym, amazing fitness classes and more.  She is also going to discuss the Silver Sneakers program for those 65 and older. This program is free or offered at a discounted price and includes over 16,000 fitness locations in the U.S.A.!

Good health starts with eating nutritious foods.  We all want to eat food that tastes great but know that we also need to make sure to provide proper nutrition to fuel our body. Our very own and very knowledgeable Annette Hinton is going to show us how to marry the two for optimal health and enjoyment!

Want to learn about a fun way to increase focus, creativity and motivation, and decrease stress, anxiety and depression? If so, we have the fantastic Holli Lee, who is going to demonstrate Yoga (including modified chair yoga) for you to experience.  Get ready to fall in love with yoga!

Finally, we will have Vicki Bailey showing us what Zumba is all about! Get ready to sway your hips, throw up your hands and dance up a storm to some out of this world music! Her easy to follow routines will burn calories, tone muscles, improve flexibility and is just a blast!

Exciting stuff! Remember, GNC is here to help us all live happier and connected lives! If you have a gym, studio, club, activity or healthy food delivery service that you would like to share with fellow members, please pick up flyers from their businesses and bring them to our January luncheon.

Let’s help each other out in starting the 2020 New Year with a bang!
